Lori LaFrance
The eldest of nine children, Lori was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and lived in Western Canada until moving to Ontario in 1989. She married David LaFrance in 1993 and is currently raising five young children, who are thirteenth-generation Canadians. Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Ryerson University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. Lori is an Ontario Certified Teacher and has taught kindergarten to grade six for the Durham Board of Education. She is a member of The International Society Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Her current research interests include Mormon Immigration, Quebec Metis Peoples, the British Monarchy, & Pickering-Ajax Digital Archives. Lori has kept a personal journal since the age of four and intertwines her love for digital scrapbooking & photography in her family history.
