Kathleen LaBudie-Szakall
Kathleen LaBudie-Szakall is well qualified to lecture on this subject having completed over 30 years researching her own Polish ancestry, over 25 years lecturing on various Michigan and Ontario resources, over 25 years as director and/or officer for the Polish Genealogical Society of Michigan, over 15 years as branch officer for Bruce and Grey branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society, over 15 years as volunteer librarian at Owen Sound (Ontario) FHC. In 2002, she collaborated with Jan Zaleski to develop an on-line genealogy course "Finding Your Polish Ancestors" offered through the University of Toronto along with a 335pp companion textbook.
