Audrey Quatrale

Audrey Lillian Quatrale was born in Burford Ontario, and grew up in Windsor Ontario with two brothers and four sisters. After graduating from London Teacher’s College in 1961, she taught grades one to seven throughout the years in Windsor, Brampton and Malton until her retirement in 1988. Audrey also married in the year 1961 and over the next fourteen years gave birth to four lovely daughters. In 1971, she and her family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in which she has held many responsible positions, working with children youth and adults. In 1988 she remarried to Michael Quatrale, who with his six children, made a total of ten children. Together they have thirty- four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Through the Church’s encouragement of genealogy, Audrey and her husband researched their ancestors, traveled and visited relatives and many cemeteries. They compiled valuable information which resulted in a beautiful Family History book on their families. Audrey continues to spearhead yearly Family Reunions. These reunions, along with the Family History books, unite family members and helps them know who they are and where they came from. This work develops love and appreciation for family heritages as it connects them to their ancestors.
