Finding Your Polish Ancestors
by Kathleen LaBudie-Szakall
Based upon an on-line genealogy course created by Kathleen LaBudie-Szakall and Jan Zaleski, the lecture provides an overview of American and Canadian resources and strategies that are essential to conducting successful Polish research. Emphasis is placed on Canadian and American web resources that might provide clues to ancestral villages.
All of Kathleen LaBudie-Szakall's references can be found in Finding Your Polish Ancestors, the companion textbook to an on-line course which is being offered through the National Institute for Genealogical Studies and the University of Toronto. The textbook (335 pp; 5.5 x 8.5) is also available for purchase. (http://www.genealogicalstudies.com/eng/gstdies.html)
